Tippecanoe Community Band

Member's Information: What to Wear

Official Uniform
The "official look" of the Tippecanoe Community Band is white, short sleeve shirts with black pants. In warmer weather black shorts are worn for outside concerts. In cooler weather and for all inside concerts long black pants are worn. For outside concerts in cooler weather in the Fall season, members should consider the weather and wear coats, hats, or other items as needed to keep warm. While waiting for the start of parades where rain is a possibility, it is wise to bring proper attire for rain.
Optional Items
The following optional items may be purchased at nominal cost: White, short sleeve shirts with "Tippecanoe Community Band" in green letters. Also available for purchase, but not required, are green "Tippecanoe Community Band" hats and white sweatshirts with "Tippecanoe Community Band" in green letters.
Special Events
For the annual Community Christmas Concert in December, gentlemen wear jackets and ties or dark suits and ladies dress to complement this attire. Also, for some winter concerts some members vary from the usual white and black attire and instead wear red and green in the spirit of the season.
